In June, the Conservatives took a riding from the Liberals in the Toronto St. Paul by-election. It was huge. It signified the beginning of the end for the governing Liberal party. But we mustn’t confuse business and politics. Politics is a viewpoint, business on the other hand is Policy. That is, it is not the party itself that is an affront to business, but rather the policies they enact. In this case, the Liberal policies have been soundly defeated.
Over the course of a decade, Liberal policies have ignored the politics of business, and instead pursued a course of reckless decision making. Taxes, productivity, inflation, immigration, and an unfriendly business environment have led to the utter decimation of the Canadian Economy. “Brain Drain”, capital flight, inflation, and lack of Canadian investment have led to an overtaxed, reduced service, reduced buying power and shitty reduced standard of living FOR ALL CANADIANS.
Whether you like it or not, ALL free market capitalist countries must have the Rich, the Middle Class, and the Poor. If not, we call that Communism. The rich, contrary to popular belief, pay an enormous amount of taxes. To say otherwise is simply a lie. Politicians use the Rich to garner votes from the poor because it is expedient to do so and because it works. The Rich provide motivation and incentives in society; there is not s single poor person who doesn’t want to be rich. That creates motivation, productivity, and the enhancement of society as a whole. The Rich give to philanthropic causes, often providing funds where governments don’t, such as hospitals and university gifts. The Rich invest in humanity as whole; that is why we have electric cars and the missions to Mars. Why on earth would we want to destroy this class of people by taxing them to death when they provide so much? It would be more beneficial to provide more ways for people to acquire wealth, not less.
The middle class , the backbone of every economy. It’s the end of days for sure if we aspire to do anything but help this segment get bigger. Reducing their tax burden and providing training and education is the best gift to give the middle class. The poor are beneficiary of our tax dollars, the redistribution of wealth. Many of us are born into this class, but without motivation, education, opportunities, philanthropy, and kindness, how can any ever leave?
Destroying any one of these Economic Ecosystems as the Liberal policies have attempt to do means a disaster for generations to come. The Politics of Business should be left to Business People who know what’s best and not in the hands of a Politician. The Business of Politics should not interfere with the Politics of Business.
