It started with a conversation around the dinner table at the end of 2023. I admit that I had initiated it. The question was straightforward but I didn’t realize what I’d put into motion.
I was having a conversation with my family about goal setting and I had just committed to completing a book draft by the end of 2024.
Fast forward to today and my co-author, Carl Furtado, and myself have just experienced a ‘pinch me’ moment. The book that we have crafted over a 24 month period has just been published.
Beyond Excuses: Journey To Possibilities is our attempt to encourage all of us to be open to having ‘conversations for possibilities’. It is often said that “success happens when preparation meets opportunity”. Life is about choices and each of our respective lives unfolds largely in accordance with the decisions we make.
This is a book that encourages the reader to be reflective. To pause and to ponder. To be bold and to take action.
The book is about a journey and it’s an opportunity to ask yourself “what if?”
